Strouds Run is located in Southeastern Ohio. Quiet and remote, the park offers a rustic charm in its scenery of wooded hills, rugged terrain and scenic lake. The park offers 80 primitive camp sites, and a 161 acre lake, which is known for its catches of rainbow trout, crappie, and channel catfish. The park has a 900 ft beach area for sunbathers, and also provides boat rentals to enjoy the lake. Backpackers may take a journey back in time by hiking one of the 35 miles of scenic trials, including one to a  pioneer cemetery. The park also offers 3 shelter houses for rental, 11 miles of bridle trials, and public hunting areas. For more information on the park call  the regional park office @740-767-3570.
